Writing Your B Side to the Truth

“Children are remarkable for their intelligence and ardor, for their curiosity, their intolerance of shams, the clarity and ruthlessness of their vision.”
Aldous Huxley

Being in Brazil for the last week, with another 20 days to go... has given me much time to develop some inner personal communication skills. The rush of life and the A Side is still strong here. Yet the lack of knowing things here and having to figure things out has given a sense of developing knowledge and gaining clarity.

This quote from Aldous Huxley explains its best. They have Zero limiting beliefs. This should be what we strive for, to be 100% positive and focused on our vision and having the life we want and a life worth living. Many times the life we think we want, is not the life we want. And even more so we forget that we are living life now. We are not going to ge to a certain spot one day and say, ok that was great I conquered life today now what? We will continually be traveling a great journey and increasing our knowledge and skills.

As I look at the beauty of children and the glow from their face of just enjoying that very moment it creates curiosity inside me to think... is this possible again in my life. Although it may not be every second of the day, we can develop skills that help us recognize when we are not as children, not in the moment, and not having a life worth living.

Today as I sat in silence and pondered the last couple days, things I have experienced, success, and failure... I discovered a process. I will spend the next few weeks refining it to help others learn it, to experiment with it, to apply it in my own life and to see the results.

It is a 6 step process

Step 1: Recognition and listening to the A Side... includes feelings of frustration... depression, low energy, lack of desire, negative thoughts. We must recognize these feelings.

Step 2: Cause... what lack of action caused these feelings, what recent experience is causeing this, what is going wrong in life? Be specific. this is an imortant step.

Step 3: Self-told lies... Why didn´t i do those actions, what were my excuses?

Step 4: Writing the B Side... what do I want to see happen or change...? be specific.

Step 5: Listen to old songs you wrote... list your past success of when you felt great and succeed.

Step 6: Instant action plan... write specifically what you will do and it must be done instantly. Use words like I will, I am, I do, I love. You must complete these actions immediately with in 2 or 3 days and possibly for a short amount of time, 7 to 14 days if they are daily actions steps.

To tie it all together take 5 to 10 minutes and write gratitude for your success, and things in your life. Relate it to the specific topic as close as possible.

Today is the day of our life. Yesterday is gone, yet we can learn from it. Tomorrow is not yet here, yet what we do today will write our future for others to learn from and also have a life worth living. Today ask yourself... what is a cause worth living for?

World

“Be the change you want to see in the World.” Gandhi

"He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it." Matthew 10:39

I ponder the days at hand and the trials before us. The land in which we live, the lives in which we lead, and the tears that many have shed. The ability in which I have to give and to give more of.

I seek God and personal communication with myself. The future is uncertain for most, yet those who land with their feet planted and their purpose direct have created clarity. Not a perfect knowledge of what lays before them in their path, yet a perfect knowledge of calmness and tranquility. A perfect knowledge of peace and serenity. A perfect knowledge of love.

Today I received this quote from my wonderful friend, "How different our lives are when we really know what is deeply important to us, and keeping that picture in mind, we manage ourselves each day to be and to do what really matters most. What things are deeply important to you?"

As I pondered that question I realized many great blessings. I learned my deepest desires and my true intentions. The things that "change" me the most is as I lose my self for others while becoming my best self so that I may give my best self. This task is not easy. We are constantly distracted and decoyed from what really matters most.

When you ponder upon the subject of life, money is always an obstacle that creates a destination. Friends there is no destination yet only this wild ride you are on called life. You can take away any materialistic thing and give me relationships. Relationships with God, with myself, with my family, with my dear friends, and those I have yet to create. The feeling generated while lifting another will move mountains and change lives. And particularly as you seek to change your own life you will move others to do the same.

I fear many things in this mortal existence as spiritual beings. I fear not my future yet the future of others. In layman's terms, the future is uncertain and it does not take a rocket scientist see that humanity and the World is not heading in a great direction. Pride is lifted up in our hearts, including mine and yours. The freedoms that we enjoy are slowly slipping through our fingers as we have failed to think and act for ourselves. Remember there is one freedom you can never lose; and that is the freedom of your mind and creation. Hold strong to your core values and hold strong to progression in the direction that your heart truly guides you.

This Christmas season take a look around. Look at the World you once knew. Look at the actions you are doing and those that are in your life. Give a helping hand. Those with money in your accounts give to those that you feel inspired to give. Those with little money give your kindness and your smile. Seek to lift those around you that they may know for themselves who they are. That they may know that all the future may look bleak and uncertain, that no matter what, they may be certain of who they are and what they have to give. No one can ever take that away.

Inability to Make Decisions

Make decisions and don't look back. The inability to decide is the inability to live for yourself.

The lack of decision making is the defeat of your plans. Wanderer's simply wander because either they do not know where they want to go or they did not decide where they want to go. The ability to make distinct decision's is a main point is success.

With the ability to make distinct decisions without looking back or second guessing gives one a sense of direction and confidence. The more confidence that is created increase's one energy and thus increasing their magnet inside with the law of attraction.

A simple answer of "I do not know" simply shows a person's lack of confidence with their self and and their ability. Make a decision and move forward... others will support you and more than likely they will follow you.

The B side tot he truth today is we are programmed and pattern to live life on default due to the lack of the ability to make decisions. Make it your decision to make decisions. As most individuals go through public school and then on to college they are never taught the skill of decision making. They can go two years and earn an associates degree in general studies without ever making the decision of what they want to study. They enter the work field not choosing what type of work or employer they want, yet what is readily available.

Action challenge today is decide on what you want in your life by deciding what you want to do today. I dunno not suggest that you map out every second of your day, yet start simple... next time someone ask's "where would you like to eat?" simply say the first thing that pop's in your head and go there.

As your ability to make decisions increases, the ability to have a life worth living increases and your development of personal leadership rises.

The Vision Of A Life Worth Living!

2010 is now rapidly approaching. Those that wish to achieve more are working on the life vision for the next year. How and what do you want in your life for 2010? Write it down and review it often.

Any human being that has defied the social view of what can and can't be done... did it in their head first. They had an uncanny amount of desire that was cultivated from the inside until there human and spiritual being could do no more than to let the energy flow freely and outwardly for the whole world to see.

We are in a mindset and society of waiting for a break to come. Those that have caught a break or had a great opportunity did not wait for it... they created it them selves. The burning desire to become more and deserve more comes from within your true passion and the ability to build upon that.

The B side to the truth is to throw away your back up plan. It has become a custom in today's society to have a fall back plan. I hear phrases such as: "I am putting together a back up plan in case this doesn't work out", "Go to school and get a degree to fall back on", "Atleast you have a degree to fall back on", "I'll be able to get a job to fall back on if my plans don't pan out". The moment an individual creates a back up plan he or she has instantly failed. The moment he vocalize and focus any amount of energy on anything other than the burning desire he or she has and will fail.

Write out your vision and how you are going to achieve what you believe. Be specific and put a time frame on it with exactness! Ready it multiple times daily. Just like a fire... the fire must be fed... the more and faster you feed it... the hotter the fire!

So the challenge between now and Christmas is simple... create your life for 2010 and write down your vision for having a life worth living. Go bigger and write a 5 year ideal life. That is what would your ideal life look like over the next 5 years. Read this over and over again to fixate the vision into reality.

Persistence and Tenacity

Persistence: Continuance of an effect after the cause is removed: persistence of
vision.
Tenacious: persistent in maintaining, adhering to, or seeking something valued or desired.

The ability to have a conscious and continuous effort to one's desires will give freedom and success to any individual that seeks after it.

The ability to be persistent is to have something to look forward to long and short. The ability to look into the future and define your success and creating a plan in which to follow. Where we as humans fall short and stay on the A side is we fail in even deriving our own plan on life and purposeful living. If you ask anyone what their purpose is and how they seek to achieve it you will receive many answers like be happy, make money, get a good job, go to school, have a family... yet they have failed to develop a step by step plan in which they may achieve their success.

Another avenue that leads down the path of failure is the fear of failure itself. We create in our minds the fallacy that I will probably fail and I can not take the criticism from others such as my family, friends, or peers. Typically this is a subconscious limiting belief that must be overcome and eliminated.

The third way in which we often fail is once we have developed a plan, we lack persistence and tenacity. We have our purpose and our path, yet the persistence and tenacity escapes us. How? By those around us. Continually you will be invited to seek other ventures, which sound like great ventures, and probably are great ventures. The problem is it takes us away from our plan and we then begin a new plan. We are always starting new plans and never stay consistent, persistent, and tenacious enough to carry out our plans whether succeed or fail. The ability to persist in itself is success and your progress great bounds in your purposeful life.

The B side to the truth is we must create a plan in which to fulfill our purpose and our desires. Part to of that is become persistent and tenacious in not allowing anything to stand in the way of your plan of action!

Henry Ford, according to Napoleon Hill, was often thought of as being "cold blooded". Yet he was one of the first to make millions again after the great depression. It is not "cold blooded" to be persistent and tenacious... it is purposeful.

The Ability to Have a Great Day!

The ability to have a great day today starts from within. Decide now the 3 most important things for you to do today!

God is known as the creator of all things. If this is true we must eliminate competition and a limiting amount of creation. We must strap on a mindset of abundance. Here is what I mean by that... we must have a paradigm shift of thinking there is enough to go around... there is more than enough money to be made... more than enough real estate to be sold... more than enough ways to change the lives of others. The ability to create is a choice from within, in which you can tap in to the source, God, and create a life worth living. As you create a life worth living, you create opportunity for growth not only in your own life, yet in the life of others.

It is a God given right to get rich. Through riches are born ideas and knowledge. Through ideas and knowledge are born creations and happiness. The thought that this is as far as I'll make it must be abolished and plentiful thoughts must replace our limiting thoughts and beliefs.

The B side to the truth today is the ability to create a life worth living. Whatever it is you seek out to do, you can do. The life that you envision, you will have. Whether it is a limited life or limitless life, you will create it.

Every morning is your opportunity to build upon your creation. Remember to seek knowledge and ideas... when an idea is born it's chance for survival is small... almost impossible due to the lack of faith in the ability to create. Once an idea is born, nurture it instantly! To be able to nurture an idea, one must act upon it... one must put into action the idea that has been born and this will feed the veins of growth and breathe lungs of manifestation.

So today is the day of your creation... remember that! Start by taking specific time to create expansion and eliminate the focus of what is lost.

Your Mr. Miyagi

Power of Accountability: to make real decisions one must have a system to act on the decision.

I have been listening to the New York Times 6 time best seller; The Game, by Neil Strauss. In a nutshell the book is about his experience from starting as a loser writer for The Rolling Stones to becoming known as the World's Greatest Pick Up Artist. Towards the end the house named Project Hollywood falls to shambles, and Neil begins to realize the whole purpose he joined the pick up community was not even close to coming to fruition. The point was to join a group of people with a drive to become better mentally, physically, financially, and most of all socially. The drive to be socially accepted and not be the goofy nerds anymore. In turn Strauss says "our house has turned into 'Lord of The Flies'".

It is human nature in which we get stuck in the amygdala, taught by Matt Townsend at The Townsend Relationship Center. The amygdala is where we decide to fight, flight, or mate. It is very common for a man to have those urges and to act upon them in our society, yet we as humans have something no other species have... and its the ability to move to the Neo Cortex or higher brain way of thinking. It is the ability to live the B side to the truth in your own life.

As Neil Strauss converses with pick up guru, Mystery, he begins to learn the true lack of every pick up artist; the inner-confidence, the inner-game, the self-validation. As Mystery breaks down in tears he says to Neil, "I never had a Mr. Miyagi". And Neil learned that Mystery never had a father to teach him how to be happy for himself, and more than that, that being your self was not enough... yet being your best self is required.

The B side to the truth today is who is your Mr. Miyagi? The power of having a mentor; that may be your father, a coach, a friend, a sibling or whom ever it is, is the difference from just being your self and being your best self. The ability to be accountable to utilizing your max potential and developing your true'ness' to a quantum leap is the power of true relationship.

So ask yourself this question, who are my Mr. Miyagi's? I have number of them... and the one's that have helped me become my best self are: My Parents and My real estate coach, Bob Loeffler. Along with great friends that are uplifting more than depleting my energy.

Identify your 5 most important Mr. Miyagi's and and your 5 enemies (people that are bringing you down). Create a plan that will allow you to increase your relationship with your Mr. Miyagi.

Energy Wasters

Often times we waste energy on issues or tasks that are not productive and consume our ability to move forward with our purpose. What are you wasting energy on?

The A side to the truth is that we focus all of our energy on efforts to prove a useless point that takes us backwards rather than forwards in our true purpose in life.

The last couple of posts I have blogged about the importance of inner-game and self-confidence. The interesting thing is when we stay focused on the B side and on a purposeful life it gives us more validation. Others will actually attract in to your life giving you more "power" sort of speak over yourself. It will reaffirm that you are living a purposeful life. Others will look to you as if you have a secret that you have discovered and they desire to know it.

Each one of us wants and needs validation. If we do not receive validation then we lose our integrity and as Matt Townsend teaches, we become STARVED from a need. What happens when you starve? You die. You may not actually die from the lack of validation, yet you will have an empty life of never feeling like you are enough and you will spend your time looking back at what you have missed out on instead of what you have gained. It is the knowledge through your experiences that take you to a next level.

I read an article written by Steve Pavlina at www.stevepavlina.com, that was the 10 ways on being a man. The number one way to be a man was to be decisive, direct, and focused. This will cause more prosperity in your life and more direction. We as humans have a tendency to look to others for guidance. As New York Times best selling Author of the book "The Game", Neil Strauss, teaches... we already have all of the answers we need inside of us. It is a matter of asking ourselves the direction in which we must go.

The B side to the truth is to decide what you are passionate about, put together a plan or follow a proven model, create personal standards according to your core values, and this will create validation with in you and amongst your peers. You gain more respect and as a by product you will have more followers flowing to you and an abundance of energy. Energy attracts knowledge, money, success, love, fulfillment, and happiness.

Here's what I mean by that. One who has the standard to not drink alcohol even when everyone else around does not will gain more respect by not drinking alcohol at a party or event then one that drink's alcohol even though it is below their own standard. People will notice and validate you more for your integrity to live up to your personal standards.

Create standards and direction in your life and you will become a magnet. When we waste energy, our magnetism is deactivated and we will actually begin to lose what we already have.

Later Means Never

Later means never and... Now means right now. If you are going to do something great there is no later. It will never happen. You must act now.

In the new DVD release, the movie "UP", depicts the power of now in such a way it will bring tears to your eyes by the end of the film. The opportunity to have an adventure is now. We as human beings spend so much time worrying about what we missed out on, we forget about the Power of Now. The opportunity to live today and create a World no one else can imagine. Towards the end of the film "UP" the husband is looking at his wife's book of great adventures and when he gets to the end of the book he see's the section "What I'm Going to Do". As he flipped the pages he saw their wedding pictures and all the pictures of them growing old together. And at the end of the last picture she wrote to the affect, Go have more great adventures! She was passing the vision on to not fret about the past, GO LIVE LIFE! YOU STILL HAVE MUCH TO ENJOY!!

We get so bogged down in the A side of life that we actually forget to have our own great adventures. I learned the other day what makes little kids such great salesman and dreamers. It is simple... they have eliminated the word "No" from their vocabulary. Can we have this? NO! Please can we?? No! Come on mom!!! Please!!! Ok, but be quick about it. They have the ability to ignore obstacles and create focus. They concentrate their energy on their dreams and their dreams become reality!!! They dream of playing in the NFL, the World Cup... they dream of flying around the World in a giant hot air balloon, they dream of fighting fires, they dream with deep desire and without a shadow that their dream is their reality.

Yet as they grow older, the a sider's of the World shoot them down and tell them they can't. So the b side to the truth today is dream and live now! Eliminate the no's and the cant's from your vocabulary. And do it now!! The longer you wait to live your dream the less energy you will have to act... and later means never. Don't live your whole life wanting to have a great adventure and thinking of what would have been. In the end the great adventure is what makes this a life worth living!
