Who Stole My Joy?

“Endurance is one of the most difficult disciplines, but it is to the one who endures that the final victory comes.” Buddha

The ability to quit is so easily accessible in this life. With all the media, social networking, social status, sometimes lack thereof, and importance of money that has been set as a standard for our social environment makes it easy to give up and remain idle.

The question is "give up" on what? We all must truly seek to know and see what it is each individual is truly after. When a person takes a finer look at life... he or she will see it was never truly the amount of money one had or didn't have or the things that were bought or the house that was lived in, yet the people that you experienced small little moments with.

As our sight is taken from us on the importance of the small moments in life that we tend to look over, we fail to endure in what is our greatest gift due to our blindness. The greatest gift of amazing joy is only permanently ringing when we are focusing on the lives of others and the experiences that we share together.

The B Side To The Truth is never ever let the situations of life steal your joy or take your focus off the prize. Just be pretty damn sure you know what the prize is or you will end up with the white elephant gift that ain't so funny!

So today ask yourself this question... Where is my joy? Where is my heart? Are they lined up?
