Consistent Innocence

"Consistency requires you to be as ignorant today as you were a year ago." - Bernard Berenson

To think we never had a chance to create our own belief system in this World. To do so means we must become completely liberal for a time and release all beliefs and then filter back into our subconscious minds the truth we know to be true. We must create standards and live by them. Logic works directly with emotion to gain true knowledge. Ponder the fact that from the very moment you were born, you were fed the ways of the World... or in a smaller sense the ways of those around you, whether it be older siblings, parents, TV, school, friends, and society in general. Every time we are new to something, we must learn how the function works, or we will fail. It is important to go out and fail til you succeed, and once you succeed you must ask yourself, "now that I am succeeding, what do I do?" There must be a purpose and an end in sight, otherwise we are filling our life with emptiness.

I love the story of Jungle book. A young boy raised by wolves in an Indian jungle. He knows no better then to act as a wolf. Yet the question I present... is he really a wolf? Just because he was raised as a wolf... does it make him a wolf?

Point being just because you are told something, does it make it true? No! You must feast upon truth to know truth. And in order to do so you must be willing to give up your inherited beliefs to gain true beliefs.

The B Side To Truth is we were programmed from birth. In order to have a life worth living we must discover truth for our self, by our self with our God. Other wise we will walk a blind trail that leads to an empty pot. Imagine having your pot consistently full that you know your purpose and you have no doubt. Now imagine being able to do that on your own, cause that is what it will take. You can be inspired by others, yet when it boils down, you must do the work. And consistent innocent actions will create your life worth living!
